Microscope Gallery, Barkly Street, St. Kilda

NEWS: Microscope Gallery has been vandalised. Silicone sealant was placed in the lock making it unusable. We are fixing this as quickly as possible and making a couple of improvements to ensure the future security of the space.

Microscope is Melbourne's (and possibly Australia's) smallest gallery. This illuminated space is located in the wall between Krua Thai and the Village Belle Hotel on Barkly Street, St. Kilda. It has been part of the St. Kilda streetscape for over twenty years and enabled countless local artists to exhibit their work for free.

We invite proposals. Artists can do whatever they wish with the space provided it is left in the same condition it was found. Please email for dimensions and availability.
